Meet the AI Test Pilot.

A new kind of founding participant: someone who helps test consented, real-device work while HDP cloud systems coordinate the heavier operations. Early stage, not a current job opening or guarantee of paid assignments.

An initiative designed through HDP's SI8 Business Operating Systems Architect & Operator approach.

The working idea

A device network.
A cloud workforce.
One accountable outcome.

Instead of another app making passive-income promises, we’re developing infrastructure for defined work that a customer actually needs—and will pay for.

01 / DEVICE

Phones with purpose

Compatible devices can contribute real-world test environments, user observations, and approved mobile capabilities.

Participant-controlled · permission based
02 / INTELLIGENCE

Cloud-powered support

HDP systems coordinate technical workflows, assignment handling, review, and human approval points.

HDP Mobile App Factory · Digital Cross Dock
03 / EVIDENCE

Results that count

Quality checks and auditable evidence distinguish a completed assignment from activity that merely consumed time.

Acceptance rules before compensation
Where work could begin

Useful assignments.
Not empty engagement.

Our first commercial target is paid mobile QA. Related workstreams may follow only when permission, demand, and operating procedures are validated.

Client-authorized tasks, not hidden phone activity
Work reviewed against clear acceptance criteria
Paid projects first; participant expansion second

App experience verification

An approved tester checks a build on real Android hardware, reproduces issues, and attaches structured evidence.

AI Test Pilot journey

From interest
to verified opportunity.

We’re designing a measured beta, not opening unrestricted tasks. The process will expand as customer demand and quality controls are demonstrated.
STEP 01

Express interest

Share your interest in the program. No phone purchase or joining fee is required.

STEP 02

Confirm compatibility

Check device suitability, participant permissions, and any task-specific training.

STEP 03

Match to paid work

If customer-funded assignments become available, eligible participants may be invited.

STEP 04

Review and settle

Completed work is reviewed. Payment conditions are disclosed before acceptance.

A different way to approach short-term work

Need the work done, not just an extra hire?

Explore how a scoped AI-and-human workflow might complement traditional temp staffing for suitable digital tasks. PhonesThatPay is not currently a staffing agency or an active job board.

What about the phone itself?

Optional supported hardware may come later, but purchasing a phone will not guarantee jobs or earnings. We intend to begin with compatible bring-your-own-device participation.

Our pilot principles ↗
Straight answers

Good questions.
Clear expectations.

Can I start earning money today?

Not through this website. PhonesThatPay is in the founding pilot stage. We are developing business demand, participant onboarding, verification, and payment procedures. Any opportunities will depend on actual paid customer assignments.

Do I have to buy a special phone?

No. Expressing interest is free and does not require buying a phone. Some future assignments may have technical device requirements, but buying hardware will never guarantee an assignment or earnings.

Will HDP control my phone?

Not by joining this website. Any future device actions must be within disclosed, approved task scope and compatible with Android rules. Our existing proof-of-concept app does not enable general remote control.

How much can a participant make?

There is no supported earnings estimate yet. Rates, assignment availability, review standards, and payment terms must be established and disclosed before any paid work begins.

What if my business needs a whole AI team?

HDP can discuss a separate managed-cloud workflow, including research, QA, process operations, and human review. Scope, security controls, deliverables, and pricing are agreed before activation.

Does this website collect my information?

The initial static website has no built-in tracking or submission database. The interest form opens a draft in your own email application; nothing is sent until you send the email. See our privacy page.
